After celebrating our own wedding in the garden of Broadlands Lodge we realised what a special romantic setting we have and we knew we wanted to share it with others.
We decided to build an all weather venue capable of seating 200 guests. We can now enjoy helping others to plan their special occasions and celebrations.

Sandy and Adam made our planning and day run super smooth, everything we needed they got it done. The food and venue was fantastic. Beautiful location to have a wedding so many different areas to have the ceremony and photos, we had the best time ever!

Sandy and the Team at Broadlands were incredible, and the venue is just stunning. With all the food and alcohol done through Sandy and the team the food and alcohol were very stress free and the food was delicious!
Celebrant – Wendy Hay. Wendy is the sister of Sandy from Broadlands and was our MC also, Wendy was fabulous at both. Wendy offered to help as much as she could prior to the wedding and on the day she was just amazing.

Taupo is a special place to us so we were very excited when we found Broadlands Lodge to host our wedding.
Sandy and Adam are such lovely people and were so easy to work with planning the perfect day.
The grounds are stunning for an outdoor ceremony, canapés and photos, and the barn was large enough to accomodate all of our family and friends from dinner to dancing.
Everyone had such a great time and we are so thankful for a truely amazing day.

Family is important to us & being able to work with a family team was wonderful.
From start to finish you were all so accommodating, answered all our questions, provided advice on suppliers & didn’t mind us popping in occasionally. We really couldn’t have asked for more given we were planning the wedding from out of town. It certainly made for a stress-free day know you all had everything in hand.
We would recommend Broadlands Lodge as a venue & if we ever had another excuse for a function, would love to go back.

My wife and I had heard about Broadlands Lodge from a friend, and upon looking at the venue further we felt it looked perfect for the style of wedding we were hoping for. The location and venue are set in stunning gardens and the barn held the rustic look which was perfect for our needs. Sandy and Adam were lovely to deal with and they both went the extra mile to ensure our day was nothing short of perfect. The service we received throughout our wedding was impeccable and food was delicious and pleased all of our guests. We would highly recommend Broadlands Lodge to anyone looking for somewhere a little special, with service that is second to none.

Broadlands Lodge completely exceeded our expectations and was home to the wedding of our dreams! All the venues we saw across the North Island before Sandy and Adam’s weren’t even comparable to the quality, style and beauty of theirs. Our guests were blown away as soon as they arrived and loved being able to spend the weekend in Taupo – a destination in itself. The gardens are so manicured they almost don’t look real, views and surroundings lush (and great for photos!) food restaurant-quality and the venue just breathtaking.
Most of all, throughout the entire process (planning from Melbourne especially) Sandy and Adam were friendly, fun to work with and totally solution-focussed. There was nothing Adam couldn’t make happen and Sandy brought it all to life with absolute class and an incredible flair for style. We feel like we made friends in the process and only wish we could do all over again.

Broadlands Lodge - I feel like I can never thank these guys enough. Sandy and Adam were easy to communicate with, were so relaxed and easy-going with our set up the day before and have made such a beautiful, relaxing all in one venue for couples and their guests to enjoy their special day. Definitely get in touch with these guys if you are getting married in Taupo!
Wendy Hay Celebrant - Wendy was also so easy to communicate with and just a warm and fun-loving person. Love how family oriented they keep it out at Broadlands (Wendy is Sandy's sister) it made for such a lovely atmosphere and Wendy prepared our ceremony exactly as we wanted it.

A big shout out to Sandy & Adam, Ben and I looked at their venue for our wedding and looked no further. The location is absolutely stunning, the on-site air bnb was lovely, they both went out of their way to make our special day run smoothly, The food was delicious & our guests had a fabulous time. There were many spots to choose from for the ceremony- whether you wanted to be in the sunshine or under beautiful trees. If you’re looking for a venue 10/10 recommend Broadlands Lodge - you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again for a a fabulous day.

To Sandy & Adam. Wow, where do I start. You have got it! Real people, down to earth, you get the vision and you bought our dream to reality. The venue is STUNNING, so well manicured with such a diverse range of backdrops to get photos, the food was so delish, and the service was wonderful. We had a fantastic wedding at Broadlands. Being able to stay on-site the night before made it easy and stress-free to set up the barn how we wanted. My husband Adam and I can’t recommend Broadlands enough!
