Herman and his groomsmen got ready offsite. While Kesli and her bridesmaids, stayed at Broadlands Lodge in our Villa, the night before the wedding. This meant the girls were able to have a relaxed morning getting ready, having their hair and makeup done at Broadlands Lodge and enjoy the build up to the wedding ceremony.
Wendy Hay, our resident wedding celebrant officiated the wedding.
Following the wedding ceremony, guests mingled having drinks and playing games on the front lawn in front of the barn while the bride and groom had their wedding photos taken.
The barn doors provide a fabulous backdrop for wedding photos, along with the gardens surrounding Broadlands Lodge and the grand Edwardian villa in the background. The rural outlook (complete with cows) also provided beautiful scenery for Kelsi and Herman’s photos.
Kelsi and Herman styled our rustic barn wedding reception venue, with natural foliage and some beautiful subtle lighting which completed the rustic look.
